| God has placed Africa in my heart, partially by bringing a little of Africa to my home. I care for a young African mother and her 14 months old twins.
She lived in my home for the first 6 months of the babies lives. Now I help mom out 5 or 6 days a week at her apartment. |

| My name is Genevieve Ellis and my dad knows Sam really well through football. I have gone to the past 3 Big Events and love the work that PI does, all the stories truly touch my heart. I recently finished my undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University and have decided that it is time for me to give back to society. Now that I have life experience and time on my hands I really would love to give back to those in need. My opportunity to travel with PI will allow me to help others, build amazing and lasting relationships and learn things that I never had the opportunity to do in a classroom environment. I am so excited to be able to make a positive impact on individuals lives and to learn from my volunteer experience in Ghana. |
